Hi there. I’m glad you’ve stopped by!
Originally from the Chicago area, I now call Southern California home. Of all the places I’ve lived, Southern California is my favorite.
During the day I'm a life science industry professional, (orthopedics) managing globaI projects, and integrations. I’ve lived as an expatriate in a number of countries in Europe and Asia as part of my career. I’ve spent more than 10 years overseas and absolutely loved it. I am a “people person” by nature and love jumping in feet first, learning about other cultures.
In my spare time, I shoot with non-profits all over the world, helping them to get their message out in the form of photographic storytelling. I care deeply about children and healthcare matters in underserved regions and conflict areas; often areas considered “third-world.”
By now you’re probably wondering how I’ve come to also shoot boudoir ... it being a significant a departure from my corporate life and non-profit photography work. While it is, there’s also a link. Let me explain …
Having traveled extensively all over the globe, I’ve come to realize that there are similar social stigmas affecting women regardless of country, race, religion, etc. Unfortunately, many become more pronounced as women age. Societies often foster feelings of “not being good enough” in so many ways: not young enough, not attractive enough, not thin enough, sexy enough; the list goes on. Women should feel empowered, especially as they become more mature and comfortable with who they are, and my photography aims to help you feel and project that empowerment.
Throughout the Life Curves Studio social media presence, you may see such phrases as “Find your sexy,” or “Regain that feminine empowerment,” or “Get your sexy on.” Essentially, this is what I try to do with my boudoir photography; I want to help you see yourself as the beautiful sexy woman you truly are. Whether you’re looking to create an intimate gift or to increase and build your level of confidence, I can offer a positive experience custom-tailored for your personal comfort and boundaries.
